Hyderabad Fire: Fire broke out in a chemical warehouse in Hyderabad, 6 people including 2 women died, CM KCR expressed grief.

Hyderabad Fire: On the occasion of Diwali, a major accident took place in Hyderabad in which 6 people died. A fire broke out in a chemical warehouse in Hyderabad (TS) in which 6 people including 2 women died. The fire was so severe that it spread to four floors.

 

Giving more information, DCP Central Zone Venkateswara Rao said that six people have died in a fire in a warehouse located in an apartment complex in Bazaarghat, Nampally, Hyderabad. It includes 2 women and 4 men. While 16 were rescued safely with minor injuries. Telangana Chief Minister KC Rao has expressed grief over the deaths in the Nampally fire. CM has ordered the concerned officials to take all relief measures immediately.

Chemical substances were stored in the building

The incident took place at a warehouse under Nampally police station limits of Hyderabad (TS). Meanwhile, firefighters are controlling the fire with three fire engines. DG (Fire Services) Nagi Reddy says, “Chemicals may have been stored illegally in the building. Chemicals were stored in the stilt area of the building and the fire was caused by these chemicals. A total of 21 people were rescued, Out of which 6 people died, while 6 people are undergoing treatment. All the people have been rescued from the apartment building.”
